So you've uploaded your media, and now you want to use the Speech-to-text functionality? We're here to help!

1) From the Event view, select the media you want to analyze by clicking on the associated thumbnail (as seen below). Once your media is selected, it will appear full screen with a set of icons located at the top right of the panel.

2) To access the Speech-To-Text panel, click on the quotation mark icon. From there, a panel will appear on the right-hand side of your screen, generating the corresponding transcript associated with the original audio source.

3) Now, you'll notice that the Source and Display drop-down menus appear above your transcript. For reference:

  • The Source drop-down menu corresponds to the original language chosen during the event creation (in the Transcription language field). If you decide to change the original language after the fact, the transcription will start from scratch.

  • The Display drop-down menu allows you to view a translated version of your transcript.

4) Once you have access to the transcript of your media, you can click on the Export button at the top right-hand side of your panel to export the transcript of your clip in the format of your choice.

It's as simple as that.
