Want to upload content to the Newsbridge platform? You can find all useful information about creating an event and importing media in this tutorial.
1/ To create a new event on the Newsbridge platform, first start by accessing the event panel via the Events tab on the top left-hand side of your screen.
2/ Once you are in the Events view, click the yellow plus icon at the bottom right-hand side of your screen to open the 'Create Event' form.
3/ In the 'Create Event' side panel, you will find various fields relating to live recordings in addition to cognitive functionalities offered by the platform. For all information about live recording on the platform, please refer to this tutorial (link to live event creation tutorial):
Let's take a look at the mandatory fields to create an event:
Title: Enter the name of your event, which will allow you to search for it in the future using the search bar.
Organization: Assign an organization (a user group) to an event. Organizations allow you to manage the visibility of various Events within the platform.
Transcription language: Select the source language of your media.
Transcription channel: Select the audio channel you want to use: left, right or both at the same time. Choosing the right transcription channel provides optimal quality transcription.
Cognitive tasks: Ability to activate detection functionalities related to people and labels for your event.
4/ Once you have filled in this information, click on Create at the bottom of the form to validate your event. You will then see your event appear in the event lineup.
5/ Next, to import your media via drag and drop, click on the blue cross to the right of your event which will allow you to access files on your computer.
6/ From here, the platform will automatically analyze and index your content.
